What do you think would make a great Internet store?
I'm looking at starting an online store. There are many possibilities; here are a few:
Magic Tricks
Comic Books
Gags & Practical Joke Items
Tropical Decor (ex. figurines)
Christian Items (crafts, Bibles, etc.)
Crafts (ex. friendship bracelets)
I was thinking about having 1 site with different links; each link would take the buyer to another section of the store. What are your thoughts on this? What would be great selling items (either from above, or your own thoughts on what would sell good)? What do you look for in an Internet based store?
Any ideas, suggestions, tips would be welcomed. Please be as detailed and descriptive as possibe.
Also, realizing that there are many comic book stores on the Internet, I need some ideas and suggestions on how to create my own store, so that it is unique in such a way that it will draw potential customers to it; something big that sets it apart from other online comic book stores.

best thing to do is research those very same keyword on search engines. reason is you want to learn how many monthly search for each of those search terms.
Too many ssearches means a TON of others sell the same items you are and a ton of competition, to little and might not be enough to make a profit.
Also consider sub-niches to those terms. example in stead of comic books, maybe specialize fantastic four or some sub-niche.
Below I have given a link to overture one of the largest pay per click search engines on the net, they feed most of the largest search engines on the net.
good luck keep going, and don't forget. Set up a blog along with the e-commerce site. you need to add content so that the engines will come to your site.
